Waygate Technologies designs and manufactures best in class technology for Remote Visual Equipment (RVI). The Visual product line (Everest) has more than 40 years of expertise in RVI technologies with applications in automotive, oil and gas, aerospace and energy sectors, amongst many others. We also support our customers in their digital transformation by applying state-of-the art data and analytics for best-in-class insights on their products and processes.

Partner with the best

As a Sales Manager you will take ownership for the sales orders for new and existing customers. Using your knowledge of the market and customers, you will build trusted relationship. Acting as an ambassador for the customer, you will contribute with innovative insights that drive new and existing sales opportunities.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Your territory will be South Germany, Austria or Switzerland (location depending)
- Acting as primary point of contact and trusted advisor to customers to build relationships and ensure customer success.
- Being the central point of contact for customers and cross-functional teams. 
- Developing a plan and a strategy to ensure the development of our visual sales in the assigned territory.
- Defining and executing the regional visual strategy in collaboration with the Regional Sales Leader 
- Defining actions and initiatives to drive quarterly results. 
- Building a visible opportunity funnel across the assigned territory using Waygate tools provided 
- Gathering and reporting Voice of Customers. 
- Building and managing the business with a compliance culture with constant health, environment, and safety engagement. 

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have experience in Commercial Sales with focus on negotiating and closing large and complex contractual agreements.
- Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to identify and solve problems. 
- Have the ability to be a technical consultant to our customers and build successful and strategic relationships.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to articulate technical information in a clear and easy to understand manner.
- Be able to communicate fluently in written and oral German and English.
- Be a strong team player and show the ability to adapt in an ever changing, dynamic environment. 
- Demonstrate passion for building trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders from all levels of the organization.
- Travelling at least 50% of your time.
